Matteo D'Agord

I'm an ICT consultant and full stack web developer with extensive experience in the digital world. I started programming in the late 80s, cultivating a passion that later became my profession: designing and developing web applications, managing IT infrastructures, and supporting companies in their digital transformation processes.

I hold a degree in Economics from Ca' Foscari University of Venice, a path that allowed me to combine technical skills with managerial vision.

Throughout my career, I have worked with companies across various sectors - from industry to retail, and even Public Administration - being proficient in multiple programming languages and development tools, and experienced in working with cloud and content delivery platforms at enterprise scale. My work spans both backend and frontend development, as well as system administration and devops.

I co-founded two tech start-ups (Civico, one of the first fully online residence management applications, and Strimy, a digital signage platform) and gained valuable experience as a consultant for large international companies, including Safilo, where I contribute to innovation and digitalization projects.

I have always been strongly interested in the open source world, which I consider a key approach to innovation, collaboration, and continuous skill development.

I like to define myself as a problem solver: I approach every project with curiosity, method, and a results-oriented mindset, always striving to find simple and effective solutions to complex challenges.
